On The Needles:(0:32)

Jasmin has been working on a pair of Smooth Operator Socks by Susan B. Anderson, and working on the afterthought heel, out of Turtlepurl Yarn out of Live Long and Prosper colorway, to knit socks for Andrew, while they were at the movies, watching Star Trek Beyond.

Gigi is knitting socks for Sam, and is trying to accommodate his high instep. And she has finished, finished yet another pair of socks out of Kroy yarn.

Jasmin made a bit of progress with the Anna cardigan. She needs to fiddle with one of the color charts.

Gigi has been weaving in ends on socks that she had knitted last year, and she is planning to weave in ends on old preemie hats.

Jasmin seams to be losing #stashdash2016 #teamcuteknitter to Emily.

The Event Formerly Known as Knitting Olympics (TEFKAKO) is coming up. Now called Ravellenic Games. Team Sasquatch covers all podcasters.

Jasmin hasn't set a goal yet, she is thinking of maybe finishing more UFO's, or knitting a child's sweater. Gigi's goal is to empty out her UFO bin.

Operation Sockdrawer will be on hiatus until after the Ravellenics.
Parameters for participating in the #operationsockdrawer contest:

Participants: post a picture to the ravelry forum, or to instagram with the #operationsockdrawer, have your ravelry name on your instagram profile. Feel free to double dip your projects.

Projects will be judged on originality and general delightfulness.
#elizalong #project sweater chest. This is the sweater equivalent of #operationsockdrawer.

Mother Knows Best:(18:28)

This week we answer a question out of the "What do you want to hear about?" thread on the Knitmore Girls forum, about a good chair to  knit in.

Jasmin mentions the Dutailier chair. She also likes a drum throne for spinning. Gigi likes to use an office chair for sewing.

Post photos about where you sit and knit.

When Knitting Attacks:(28:40)

Gigi had managed to put too many stitches on waste yarn for an afterthought heel and had a giant hole by the heel. So she grafted it.

This week we are reviewing Viking Knits and Ancient Ornaments, by Elsebeth Lavold

Jasmin also likes Viking Patterns for Knitting by Elizabeth Lavold. Jasmin also suggests A Beautiful Wreck by Larissa Brown, and Jasmin mentions the Vikings on tv, and Gigi mentions The Vikings, with Tony Curtis and Kirk Douglas.

Jasmin mentions the Vikings (correction, called "Northmen") with  James Norton from Grantchester, but says it is a dud.

Jasmin mentions Alana Dakos's Baby Botanicals, and Anne Podlesak's Legendary Knits

Tour de Fleece wrap up:(45:20)

Gigi spun some yarn towards a sweaters worth of yarn for hopefully the Helvetica by Elizabeth Doherty.

Jasmin is spinning for a family's worth of sweaters, out of a grey Janet Heppler Merino/Corriedale for family Hiros. Contrasting colors with fiber from Lisa Souza and  Abstract Fiber.  She is spinning this on the Acadia Wheel.

And Sew On:(50:31)

Gigi sewed a muslin for a pair of parachute pants/shorts for Sam.
Genevieve would like to finish sewing the accessories for her mermaid doll.
