What makes Abstract Fiber's sock yarns stand out from the rest? Our brilliant colors don't bleed. Our skeins rarely have knots. Our yarns are beautifully constructed to minimize splitting and show off stitch patterns. Our colors are designed to minimize pooling and striping. Check out Abstract Fiber's outstanding sock yarns at AbstractFiber.com
While winter brings feeling of nesting or hunkering down, it also means a picking up a piece or two of handcrafts. The oven works overtime for those holiday family favorites, quilters stitch just a tad faster to complete works of art before gift giving officially opens, and knitters dash to their local yarn store to squeeze in one more scarf or pair of socks for that last minute gift. As you are crafting wonders, Bar-Maids continues to handcraft yummy goodness for your skin ... all to to help you....even if you continue to create into the wee morning hours. Bar-Maids handcrafts their products with natural skin loving oils and butters; everything your skin needs to keep it soft and moisturized and nothing it doesn't. Since you use our hands a tad more in this season, let Lo-Lo help keep them moisturized. It's simple! Get your hands wet, shake the water off and get your Lo-Lo on before you pick-up needle, cookie cutter, or drop spindle.
The newest innovation from the Namaste sisters is the Poppins bag. This bag opens wide and is surprisingly spacious despite it's compact appearance. Super cute design with magnetic top closures to allow you to knit out of your closed bag (and separate fibers if you wish) with no worries of snagging your precious fibers. 2 external zipper pockets and plenty more inside, including internal tool storage slots- this bag is awesome. Get yours at www.namasteinc.com

This week the girls have been going crazy knitting socks for #25daysofenabling. Keep your eyes peeled for new colorways on Instagram, Facebook, and Ravelry. Jasmin also started on socks from Simply Socks Yarn Co. in Poste Yarn in the Jollyville, Tx colorway.
Gigi cast on socks in Gynx Yarns in the Santa's Workshop colorway, and she also got started on a pair in Grinchy, and added Broken Ornament stripes from Gourmet Stash

Jasmin mentions Voolenvine Yarns' Vampire Yarn club.
Gigi has been working on the Knit your Love Shawl from Martina Behm and has so far knitted 19 out of 20 hearts.
Jasmin likes the Gynx socks pattern that Gigi has been using. On every color change she does a row of k1p1, as soon as the color changes, usually mid row.
Also, Jasmin would like some feedback on the #25daysofenabling.
Gigi has been wearing her standard cowl, wristers and socks. She neglected to wear knit socks yesterday, and was cold and grouchy.
Jasmin has been layering her knits. She has worn her wool socks and Genevieve has been wearing her Squirrel sweater and the Kangaroo hoodie. Jasmin wore her Mariah, her ikat scarf by Lucy Neatby, and her Fancy Image hat. Andrew wore a hat out of Noro.
Jasmin is thrilled at Genevieve putting her sweaters into her Frozen sweater chest.

Our holiday season begins with Chevy Chase's Christmas Vacation! Lots of Christmas music from ALL genres, although I'm partial to those in the 40's and 50's. Next weekend it's a Chinese auction Christmas party - gifts all must be from "As seen on TV." Great fun!!! Finished decorating today while listening to you'll. Love listening as always. Merry Christmas!!!ReplyDelete
