Have you ever come across a knitting pattern that seemed to whisper: Knit me! Knit me now!
You sure have – and it’s not entirely unlikely that it was a design by Martina Behm, creator of the Hitchhiker, Leftie and Brickless.
Strick mich! is German and means “Knit me!”, and it’s the name of Martina Behm’s website –
and also her knitting Club: Strickmich! Club 2017 is a subscription for four new knitting patterns
by Martina Behm plus four skeins of especially chosen, handdyed yarns, carefully selected by Martina for her designs. And when you unwrap your Strickmich! Club package, see the beautiful yarn and a new exciting pattern, you will hear it whisper: Strick mich! Knit me!
Sign-ups will start on November 12th on www.strickmich.club.

We have a bunch of great books that we are excited to review Annetarsia Knits, and Yarnitecture,
and Nicky Epstein's new patterns.
Jasmin mentions the Click, Clack, Moo series of children's books. (Also, the rest of the farmyard books from the collection are wonderful and hysterical.)
Jasmin has made significant progress on her Ashburn , in Lollipop Yarn Flibertigibbet Sock, for the #BigBadBergalong, and we have one kit to give as a prize.
Gigi has finally started a pattern, the January Skies,#BigBadBergalong, out of Black Trillium Fibres
Jasmin got some golden yarn from Voolenvine out of the Blitz base in the Harpsichord colorway.
This will also be a #BigBadBergalong.
Jasmin has finished the sleeves on the Gone Astray sweater for Genevieve and joined them to the body.
Gigi has finished knitting her part of the Polygon blanket, by TinCanKnits out of Black Trillium Fibers. We love the clear, blanket size knitting bag. Also, she has started the Pop blanket, and Gigi is not sure she likes the bind off row.
Jasmin is working on the Anna sweater. She also bought an Anna tutu set to go with the Frozen cardigans that made Genevieve very happy.
Gigi finished Vanilla socks out of Berry Colorful Yarnings for Jasmin.
Gigi also finished yet another preemie hat. She is planning to make pom poms for the hats.
In Stitches:(23:18)
Jasmin is wearing knitted socks with her clear Converse
Gigi is wearing wool socks. Jasmin wore her Sothia shawl, Genevieve wore her Elsa sweater. Jasmin was also wearing her "knit for brains" shirt.
Events:(26:34)
We will be attending Stitches West, sometime in February.
Contest:(27:19)
The newest prize is a skein of Canon Hand Dyed yarn in the "You Really Must Get Some Flounces" colorway.
Parameters for participating in the #operationsockdrawer contest:

#projectsweaterchest. This is the sweater equivalent of #operationsockdrawer. We want to encourage you to knit yourself a chest full of sweaters. This contest also has been inspired by Susan B. Anderson and her fast forward video of her top 10 sweaters.
We have lots of great prizes to give away. Feel free to double dip with any other KAL.
#elizalong also applies to this contest, since Elizabeth Doherty's sweaters are polished and functional, and excellent for everyday wear.
Mother Knows Best:(29:58)
This week we answer a question out of the "What do you want to hear about?" thread on the Knitmore Girls forum, about bleeding spinning fiber.
When Knitting Attacks:(35:58)
Gigi was challenged by the very long repeat on the self striping sock yarn.
Jasmin got confused about right and wrong side row on her Ashburn.
Review:(40:27)
Grown, by Kate Oates
We are delighted to be part of the Grown Tour.
We also reviewed her Knits for Boys some time ago and loved it.
We love that the e-book is linked to ravelry and other websites
Gigi reminisces about the Ribbi Cardi
Jasmin also thinks that some of these sweaters would look amazing made out of the gradient yarns from Knit Circus.
Straw into Gold:(1:01:21)
Jasmin spun a Coral Romney/tussah Abby Batt, and Lisa Souza super wash merino in “Wild Things” (on the Device).
There was a pop, smoke, power loss, and then some excellent (and prompt) help.
Gigi tried to finish her Tour de Fleece spinning, and her driveband popped.
She was trying to fill the bobbin of her Woolee Winder to the brim.
