Jasmin has been knitting away on the Cascade Cardigan, and loves it. It is themed after The Very Hungry Caterpillar.

This week Gigi has finished both sleeves of her Katje and is working on the bottom of the hoodie. On the Playful Stripes Cardigan, all that remains to be done is the finishing. We discuss alternate ways of finishing loose thread ends. Jasmin saw a possible solution on Clara Parkes' instagram feed.

Gigi will be finishing the second of the Magic Carpet Socks. She finished a preemie hat and put a few more rows on socks for Genevieve out of yarn left over from Papa Knitmore's socks.

While winter brings feeling of nesting or hunkering down, it also means a picking up a piece or two of handcrafts. The oven works overtime for those holiday family favorites, quilters stitch just a tad faster to complete works of art before gift giving officially opens, and knitters dash to their local yarn store to squeeze in one more scarf or pair of socks for that last minute gift. As you are crafting wonders, Bar-Maids continues to handcraft yummy goodness for your skin ... all to to help you....even if you continue to create into the wee morning hours. Bar-Maids handcrafts their products with natural skin loving oils and butters; everything your skin needs to keep it soft and moisturized and nothing it doesn't. Since you use our hands a tad more in this season, let Lo-Lo help keep them moisturized. It's simple! Get your hands wet, shake the water off and get your Lo-Lo on before you pick-up needle, cookie cutter, or drop spindle.

Gigi started the Hipster Hat out of Pacific Knits.Jasmin has finished the yoke of the Playful Stripes Cardigan, but the button band was challenging. Gigi is working on the second incarnation of the sleeve of her Katje, but may do it again.

Jasmin is making progress on the Kaanteinen Hat. Gigi needs to turn the heel of her Monkey Socks. Her second Magic Carpet sock is looking beautiful, which makes the first sock look sloppy. She is thinking of knitting a new top and grafting it on the first sock, and after grafting the center of the Frost flowers stole, that should not be a big deal.

Gigi has offered to pick up the stitches for the cuff of her Houdini socks. Jasmin and Miss Kalendar have decided to knit the Calligraphy cardigan out of the handspun she had earmarked for the Baby cables and big ones, too pullover.

We are discussed some developments on Project Runway Allstars. It seems that creating drama keeps designers longer in this competition than good design. We are disappointed.
We also mention Tim Gunn's Life's Little Lessons for Making It Work.

Jasmin talks about Lily Chin's appearance on Letterman, and briefly mentions Rachel Ray

In Stitches:(18:38)

Gigi has been wearing her standard socks, wristers and Knitmore Cowl. She accidentally mismached some Regia socks and they still looked like they belonged together. She wore her gray Citron- Jasmin has the yellow one. And she wore a big sweater out of Colinette yarn.

Jasmin wore her Uber Cowl out of Cascade Magnum. Andrew has been wearing hats out of Noro. We talked about the Seam Allowance project, where people are trying to sew/knit 25% of things new to their wardrobe.

Andrew wore gloves that Jasmin knitted for Andrew pre -ravelry.

Genevieve has been wearing her Genevieve Coat and the lovely cardigan that Aimless knitted for her.

Sam is looking for his hat to wear with his Daybreak
