On the Needles:(0:38)

Gigi has a raging case of Startosis, she started a pair of Vanilla socks out of Regia. She is also knitting a pair of Vanilla socks out of Opal, from the Vincent Van Gogh line, in Starry Night. Furthermore, she dug out some socks out of Julianna’s fibre on Etsy, that she had started last year: Under the Mistletoe, which is a Holiday self-striping yarn.

Jasmin has made progress on her Ashburn, in Lollipop Yarn Flibertigibbet Sock, for the #BigBadBergalong, and we have one kit to give as a prize.

Gigi is making  progress on the the January Skies, #BigBadBergalong, out of Black Trillium Fibres.

Jasmin has been working on the Gone Astray cardigan for Genevieve, and has nearly finished the first set of beaded sheep.

 Three sizes of patterns:
Welcome to the Flock, baby size
Gone Astray, child size and
Shepherdess adult

Jasmin is using  the Philosopher's Wool technique  for her Gone Astray
(All of the modifications Jasmin mentions are on her project page.)

Gigi finished the knitting of the Selvedges cardigan by Amy Christoffers. Now it needs finishing

Jasmin swatched for her Hamilknit hat.

Jasmin has also made progress on the Anna cardigan.  Gigi has been working on the Puerto Montt, Martina Behm, out of Rohrspatz und Wollmeise, in the color Nautic Miles. This is intelligent garter stitch. Gigi pulled yarn for two sweaters to knit.

Swatched for the Helvetica cardigan, in Kestrel. Quince & co, out of 100% organic linen. Knit ribbon. Swatched and washed

Gigi knitted preemie hats and made tiny pompoms on the Clover pompon maker
and Jasmin mention the Geeky Girls podcast.

Jasmin talks about NCIS, last week: Abby knits for the new team members, Torres comes around at the end.

We have lots of great prizes to give away. Feel free to double dip with any other KAL.

Mother Knows Best:(35:00)

This week we answer a question out of the "What do you want to hear about?" thread on the Knitmore Girls forum about using leaders and spinning faster

When Knitting Attacks:(39:36)

Gigi's January Skies: she lost track of row count, ripped back, found that she hadn't knitted too much, re-knitted what she had ripped out. Also, she noted that on a bobble row, she was knitting on the back row, doing k5tog, she had dropped one loop, noticed it a few rows later, and secured it with a locking stitch marker.

Also, she misplaced her bag with the sock in progress.
