I made the Overnight Creme Brûlée...Jasmin and GiGi,
I made the Overnight Creme Brûlée French Toast last Friday night and it was fabulous! Our daughter, son-in-law, and 18-month old grandson were here for the weekend, and we enjoyed it on Saturday morning. They have two dogs and we have two dogs, so we like to take them to walk on the golf course next to our house early in the morning. That gave the French Toast plenty of time to warm up and begin baking while we were out with the dogs. Fabulous!!! We enjoyed the leftovers Monday morning for breakfast.
Thanks so much for posting the recipe. Thanks also for all of the wonderful knitting inspiration you continue to give me!

xo
JudyJudyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04787074582148834510noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7060138301733073544.post-34296901297093363242012-05-11T11:57:09.033-07:002012-05-11T11:57:09.033-07:00Jasmine and Gigi

You seem like a fab mother-daughter duo, it makes me wish that my mom lived physically close enough to me that we could podcast and knit together.

Also: so, so, so, so, SO amazing to hear tiny baby noises in the background. Congrats on the newest knitmore girl. I gave birth to a daughter of my own almost 2 years ago. I miss the little infant gurgles and coos.

How you have the energy and mental capacity to put together a podcast with a tiny one in the house is beyond me -- I wasn't able to pick up my knitting needles until months after delivering because I was so busy figuring out how to care for the wee one. Hats off to you!

A final nugget: my mother deemed herself "Gigi" after her granddaughter was born. Am wondering what tiny knitmore will call you, GiGi, once she is old enough to talk.

Must laptop typing and start listening to more back episodes.

cheers
BethBeth clawsonhttp://www.double-stars.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7060138301733073544.post-15661220670113315262012-04-25T13:04:56.422-07:002012-04-25T13:04:56.422-07:00What's a storage spindle?

I have missed you both/all very much!
I've been watching your button tutorial, as I am about to make my first buttonholes, and (duhhhh) realized I'd never sewn a button on a knitted garment (successfully). Thanks for both great tutes!

xo
JudyJudyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04787074582148834510noreply@blogger.com
