The corrections, both things that matter a lot more in Minnesota than in California, is that water freezes at 32 degrees Fahrenheit, not 40 (40 degrees is the temperature of a typical refrigerator), and winter officially starts on December 21, the winter solstice, not January 21. My question is: What makes a set of needles special for knitting hats? I've always used just a regular circular needle.
