That weekend with the funny names is quickly approaching. You know Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, Cyber Monday. Yeah, that one!.  Bar-Maids has always had ‘KILLER’ Cyber Monday specials and this year is no different except this year, their special begins on Black Friday. How special? A buy 1, get 1 free type of special. If you were to break it down, you could give 8 different people gifts and that is a whole lot of happy, soft, and smelling good. Bar-Maids ordered a good sum for this year but the quantities are limited. The games begin the day after Thanksgiving, as does the unveiling of the Buy 1, Get 1, and may the odds be ever in your favor.  Or in Bar-Maids case, may the odds be ever in your flavor.
NAMASTE INC
The newest innovation from the Namaste sisters is the Poppins bag.  This bag opens wide and is surprisingly spacious despite it's compact appearance.  Super cute design with magnetic top closures to allow you to knit out of your closed bag (and separate fibers if you wish) with no worries of snagging your precious fibers.  2 external zipper pockets and plenty more inside, including internal tool storage slots- this bag is awesome.  Get yours at www.namasteinc.com

When Knitting Attacks:(46:00)

Gigi has managed to totally mangle the toe on the Boo socks she was knitting, and had a hard time seeing the stitches on the black toe. She also reversed increases and decreases on the Mystik Spiral socks.

Review: (47:31)

This week we review Gramma Nancy's Animal Hats

We mention Ann Norling's Fruit hats.

We think with some  they are also good candidates for Halo's of Hope hats and Preemie hats.

Holidays with the Knitmores: (54:31)

The girls are very fond of hot chocolate, with Penzeys Hot Chocolate mix and Salted Caramel sauce, Glühwein, Hot Spiced Cider, Eggnog from the Joy of Cooking (Jasmin has the edition linked).

Gigi would like to try hot buttered rum.

Straw Into Gold: (57:00)

Gigi needs to wind her spinning off onto plastic bobbins.

And Sew On: (57:44)

Gigi finally got the buttonhole foot to work. She managed them, but really needs to order a manual. She mentions Fray Check-ing the buttonholes.

You can see our progress on projects on our instagram feed.

  1. I was so hoping to find what salted caramel you are putting in your hot cocoa Jasmin. It sounded so yummy and I have been thinking about it all afternoon. :)
