You probably attend an event at least once a year. Sometimes events are all about shopping, but more often than not, events are a combination of shopping and education. When attending a show that combines classes and market place, shopping literally becomes dashes between classes. Time is short that your plan includes the necessary pit stop (crossing your fingers for short lines) and visits to my favorite or new vendor spot.
As a vendor, we do our best to bring the right amount of scents and products. We are thrilled when we have the product or scent you are looking for, but sometimes there is a sudden run on your favorite scent or product and the person in front of you just bought the last one. Being left wanting after waiting just stinks!
Wait and want no more because we've created the Easy Peasy Product Reservation. It's so simple and fast, you’ll LOVE the experience!
Go to our web site: www.Bar-Maids.com for directions, and we'll even text you a reminder during the event!

Jasmin finished the Lina hat #25000Tuques

Gigi isn't happy with the quality of workmanship on her last hat, she will rip it out and reknit it.

Jasmin started another hat, the Queenie. She complained that Sam hat picked the Turn a Square Hat , which she has knitted already, instead of picking something new to her. She loves the Woolly Wormhead Hats, and has ordered yarn from White Birch Fiber Arts, in the color Travel Agent For Guilt Trips.

Gigi has been working on the mesh border of her Viajante  #Behmalong

Jasmin has been working on the Coronation cardigan for Genevieve, and has picked up the Elsa gloves for Genevieve again.

Mother Knows Best:(27:47)

This week we answer two questions from the "What do you want to hear about?" thread in the forum, one about our list of excellent books to buy  and knitting for the dogs.
Jasmin mentions Spinrite Patons A Dog's Life

When Knitting Attacks:(34:29)

Jasmin is working on Genevieve's gloves, and the outline of Genevieve's hands seems to have been gifted as artwork. Also, she had knitted the pinky too tight, as they found out when they tried it on. Frog and do over.

Review:(37:35)

This week we review  Gertie's Ultimate Dress Book

We also mention Sew Many Dresses, Sew Little Time

And Sew On:(49:50)

Gigi bought woven and knitted interfacing at JoAnne's in quantity.

Also, she bought a panel of advent stockings at her local quilt store, and doing assembly line construction, and she is posting pictures of the process onto Facebook and Instagram. We are trying to figure out what to put in them for Genevieve, since candy and sweets turn her into a gremlin, and itty bitty toys are a choking hazard.

We'd like you to meet two very special yarns, Lily and Lotus! Both yarns are a luscious blend of yak, merino, and silk. They are naturally a light grey color, quite lovely as they are, but we just can't stop ourselves from putting lots of bright color on top. Overdyeing the grey mutes our brights just a little, making them richer and oh, so wearable. Lily is a worsted weight 4-ply with a very round structure that makes cables and textures pop. Lily's little sister Lotus is fingering weight with a tight twist. Perfect for socks, scarves, sweaters, or anything. Get Lily and Lotus at AbstractFiber.com
