What makes Abstract Fiber's sock yarns stand out from the rest?  Our brilliant colors don't bleed. Our skeins rarely have knots. Our yarns are beautifully constructed to minimize splitting and show off stitch patterns. Our colors are designed to minimize pooling and striping. While winter brings feeling of nesting or hunkering down, it also means a picking up a piece or two of handcrafts. The oven works overtime for those holiday family favorites, quilters stitch just a tad faster to complete works of art before gift giving officially opens, and knitters dash to their local yarn store to squeeze in one more scarf or pair of socks for that last minute gift. As you are crafting wonders, Bar-Maids continues to handcraft yummy goodness for your skin ... all to to help you....even if you continue to create into the wee morning hours. Bar-Maids handcrafts their products with natural skin loving oils and butters; everything your skin needs to keep it soft and moisturized and nothing it doesn't. Since you use our hands a tad more in this season, let Lo-Lo help keep them moisturized. It's simple! Get your hands wet, shake the water off and get your Lo-Lo on before you pick-up needle, cookie cutter, or drop spindle.
NAMASTE INC
The newest innovation from the Namaste sisters is the Poppins bag.  This bag opens wide and is surprisingly spacious despite it's compact appearance.  Super cute design with magnetic top closures to allow you to knit out of your closed bag (and separate fibers if you wish) with no worries of snagging your precious fibers.  2 external zipper pockets and plenty more inside, including internal tool storage slots- this bag is awesome.  Get yours at www.namasteinc.com

On The Needles:(0:35)

Gigi has been knitting on the Knit your Love Shawl from Martina Behm. Jasmin finished the Vintage Holiday Socks out of Coloring Book Yarn,  with the free pattern from Lara Neel, that is a taste of Sock Architecture. She is weaving in ends with the new sock sized needle from Leslie Wind. A lot of the deals for 25 Days of Enabling  are continuing until the end of December. Check on the Ravelry board thread, or Pinterest, to see what sales are still going on.

Gigi has finished a cowl out of Abstract Fiber "Dreadz" in the Madrigal colorway.

Jasmin is working on the Winter Wonderland Socks from Gynx Yarn. Genevieve is also quite taken with the Frozen Throne colorway by Gourmet Stash.

Gigi has finished the Grinch vs. Santa Socks, and Jasmin is knitting a watch cap out of cashmere for Andrew. Gigi is almost done with the Santa's Workshop socks.

Jasmin is a bit intimidated by the sock machine, but sticking with it. She is excited about buying Lava soap. Gigi has almost finished the Bourbon Barrel Cake socks.

In Stitches:(15:27)

Gigi wore an old sweater out of Malabrigo.
Genevieve has been wearing her Annie sweater and her Squirrel sweater and the Kangaroo sweater.
Jasmin wore her SPAKAL sweater.

This week we answer a question about why Gigi chose a Schacht Cherry Matchless. Jasmin's first wheel was an Ashford Traveler. We mention Carolina Homespun. I also spun on a Louet Julia for some time. Jasmin is still very happy with her Sidekick, and decided to sell her Victoria.

When Knitting Attacks:(31:24)

Gigi was repeatedly attacked by her Grinch vs Santa socks.

Holidays With The Knitmores:(33:36)

A lot of our holiday traditions center around food.

Jasmin is thrilled with her holiday crab feed, followed by a walk around the neighborhood to admire the neighbors' decorations. Also, she mentions her Creme brûlée French toast.

Jasmin mentions Cat Bordhi's The Art of Felfs

And Sew On:(47:16)

Gigi repaired a jacket using a jump ring and grosgrain ribbon, and shortened a bunch of jeans.
